David Munn is the Head of Information and Communication Technology of the Greater London Authority (GLA) where he has responsibility for providing IT services to support the Mayor of London and the London Assembly in their work overseeing the running of a vibrant and exciting city.
He is the lead officer on implementing technology to support flexible and modern working methods and has driven forward initiatives on: shared services, green computing, the use of open source technology and opening up data to citizens.
He has worked at the GLA since 2002 when he managed the implementation of the technology installed as part of the fit-out of City Hall, the GLA’s state of the art headquarters next to Tower Bridge on the south bank of the Thames. Prior to that David has worked in a wide variety of technology related roles.
